Physical Education

At Holte School we promote the importance of regular physical activity to all of our pupils. Within the PE department we offer a wide range of sporting opportunities to all of our pupils. The PE curriculum offers pupils the chance to develop physically, mentally and socially. Students learn to grow in confidence, learn to develop their leadership skills and learn the importance of leading a healthy and active lifestyle.

We aim to instil excellent safety practice in this highly practical subject and teach pupils to value professionalism in their approach to sport. Healthy lifestyles are promoted at all times, teaching pupils to respect themselves and each other. We deliver high quality Physical Education which inspires all pupils to succeed and excel in competitive sport. We provide opportunities to compete in sport and other activities which build character and help embed values such as fairness and respect.
