Enrichment

At Holte Sixth Form we are committed to educating the whole student, providing them with key stills that can be used throughout life. Each Year 12 students follows one, in addition to their three A Level and/or Level 3 courses, of the following enrichment programmes:

  • Arts Award (Bronze, Silver or Gold)
  • Level 3 Core Maths
  • Level 3 Extended Project Qualification (EPQ)
  • Level 3 Speech Grade 6
  • Level 3 Sports Leadership Award
  • AS Level Further Mathematics

 

Sixth Form students can also apply for:

  • Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award
  • The Access Project
  • University of Birmingham’s Access to Birmingham (A2B)
  • University of Birmingham’s Routes to the Professions (R2P)
  • Aston University’s Pathways to the Professions

Work Experience

We assist our Year 12 students in obtaining one week work placements during our work experience week in June/July with local organisations, allowing them to gain a taster of future careers.
