Next Steps
All students in the Sixth Form receive the necessary guidance and information regarding their “next steps” after completing their studies at Holte. We offer information and guidance on higher education, apprenticeships and employment. The school has a Careers Information Education and Guidance Award for the support we offer our students.

Holte Sixth Form is involved with the aim higher partnership which has enabled us to establish links with the following local universities.

We have a tailored Citizenship programme designed to give students all the relevant information and guidance regarding university. This includes sessions on the benefits of higher education, applying to university, life as a student and student finance. This involves school liaison officers from the universities giving our students advice on these issues in addition to further workshops with their form tutors.

Apprenticeships
We have a personal advisor from Prospects who offer students a one to one interview regarding their option once leaving Holte. This will give students guidance on whether an apprenticeship is the right option for them to take.
Employment
Our staff will offer information and guidance regarding employment opportunities. This can be discussed further with our Prospects Advisor. The advice we offer includes information on the following areas:
