Admissions

Making decisions as to what courses you want to study at A Level or Level 3 can be quite difficult and daunting for students. This year we will be launching the KS5 Pathways Process, in which students will be guided and supported in order to make those important subject/courses choices. However, there are 5 easy steps to follow in order to get a place at Holte Sixth Form:

1. Look through the prospectus and decide which courses you want to study.

2. See your subject teacher about the course you have chosen. They will give you further advice regarding the course.

3. Discuss your choices with your parents.

4. Check that your estimated grades meet with the entry requirements for the course, (and that you are working hard to achieve them).

5. Complete the application form and return it to Mr Khan.

Following this you will receive a time for your interview to discuss your choices.

On receipt of GCSE examination results in August, students who meet the entry requirements for their chosen subjects will be given a place to start their courses in September. Students who do not meet the conditions of their offer will require an interview with Mr Khan or Mr Mann to discuss available options.
